St Peter & St Paul Church, Wymering

Welcome to St Peter and St Paul,  Wymering.

St Peter and St Paul is the spiritual home to the people of Wymering and Port Solent  in the north of Portsmouth at the foot of Portsdown Hill.

Our beautiful church was built in the twelfth century and sensitively restored in 1861. Its ancient walls bear witness to the centuries of prayer by successive generations.

The Parish Mass at 9:15 am every Sunday is central to the worship of the parish. There is a robed choir and all the major festivals are celebrated. Baptisms are held usually on the first Sunday of the month and there are a number of weddings throughout the year. The Blessed Sacrament is reserved in the sanctuary.

We are a warm and welcoming community. The Church is open from 10-12 noon daily.

There is a well-equipped Church Hall available for hire.
